Kanawha County Schools and Capital High School Dress Code Guidelines 2010-2011
Parents,
As you begin to prepare your student(s) for the opening of school (Back to School Shopping) we respectfully request that you please review and adhere to the following guidelines established for dress for all of Kanawha County Schools and, especially, at Capital High School for which your student(s) will be held accountable.
Please remember these simple officially approved guidelines when purchasing clothes for your student(s) for the upcoming school year.
Please note that gym shorts, running shorts, and other ‘short’ shorts are still not considered appropriate attire for the school setting. However, the administration has determined that ‘contemporary basketball shorts’ (knee length and longer) are now permissible.
